Roof Repair Smedway built its Roof Leak Repair division around one idea: homeowners in Pomeroy deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Every technician on a Roof Repair Smedway crew earned their spot through years on real roofs in Pomeroy, OH, not a two-week onboarding video — that's the difference customers notice the moment we pull up.
Licensing and insurance aren't a line item we mention once and forget — we keep documentation current and available on request, because a homeowner signing off on a Roof Leak Repair project deserves proof, not a promise.
Roofing is a trade where shortcuts hide for a year or two and then fail at the worst possible moment, usually during the next hard rain. We build every Roof Leak Repair job — big or small — the same way, whether it's a single shingle repair or a full tear-off.
Bonded, insured, and ready to show proof on the spot.
Storm damage doesn't check a calendar, so neither does our on-call rotation.
Every estimate is itemized in writing so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Faster arrival times because the truck was already nearby.
A roof rarely fails all at once. It sends smaller signals first, and catching them early is almost always cheaper than waiting for the emergency call.
Heavy granule loss is one of the earliest visible clues that a roof is approaching the end of its service life.
Shingle edges that curl upward have usually lost flexibility, which makes them far more likely to crack or blow off in the next storm.
Visible light through the roof deck is a direct sign the barrier between your attic and the weather has been compromised.
A yellow-brown ring spreading across a ceiling almost always traces back to a roof leak, even if the leak point is several feet away from the stain.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
A visible bare patch after a windstorm means the roof's weather barrier has a direct gap that needs covering immediately.
Whether it's a single emergency tarp or a full system replacement, each service below is handled by technicians who specialize in that exact scope of work.
Active leaks after a storm get a same-day response whenever it's physically possible — a temporary tarp-down first, a permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
From a handful of cracked shingles to a full asphalt or metal system replacement, our residential crews scope the job against manufacturer specs, not guesswork.
Commercial roofs carry different loads and different membrane systems than residential shingles, and our crews are trained on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen accordingly.
A full tear-off strips the roof down to the decking, replaces damaged boards, and installs a new underlayment and shingle system built to current code.
Scheduled maintenance visits catch loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them into an emergency call.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general handyman work often gets wrong — our crews treat them as their own scope.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in Pomeroy, OH.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
No verbal-only pricing — every number is documented so there's no confusion at invoice time.
Warranty documentation is provided on completion for both materials and labor.
Crews dispatched from within Pomeroy, OH reach most Pomeroy calls faster than out-of-area companies quoting a two-week wait.
Every job gets a written estimate before a single nail is pulled, so there's no surprise number waiting at the end.
Our installers train on manufacturer specifications for shingles, underlayment, and flashing systems, not just general carpentry.
Every repair and install comes with a workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
We've worked with enough adjusters across Pomeroy, OH to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every Roof Leak Repair project closes with a written warranty covering our labor, separate from whatever coverage the shingle or membrane manufacturer already provides.
If a crew leader finds something during teardown that changes the scope, you'll hear about it before it changes your bill, not after.
Our Pomeroy coverage area extends across Pomeroy, OH, and if your address falls just outside the standard zone, dispatch can usually still arrange a visit.
Dispatch routes are planned around Pomeroy's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
